Maaike Godschalk

As a young girl, Maaike stumbled upon a leaflet from a Pedak notepad in one of her comic books. Her father, a representative at the time, had brought it back from a trade show. This memory stayed with her. So, when she saw a job opening at Pedak a few years ago after working in various roles in commercial technology, she didn’t hesitate. Adventure, technology, and challenge are what drive her, and that’s also her strength as an infrared specialist at Pedak!

The versatility of infrared as a measurement tool is vast, and together with her clients, Maaike explores the ideal application for each measurement question at hand. Whether it means wading through manure for cow temperature measurements or donning a helmet near a blast furnace with liquid steel, she sees it as her personal mission to demystify the complexity surrounding infrared as a measurement technique because the possibilities are endless. Provided one adheres to certain rules, which Maaike is more than happy to explain.

In her free time, Maaike is an outdoor enthusiast who loves being in nature and advocating for wildlife conservation. She enjoys hiking and exploring!
