Infrared temperature meters

What characterises infrared temperature meters is their wide range of uses. Remote infrared temperature measurement can be carried out by measuring the temperature of metal, asphalt, textile, glass, solar panels, paper, thin plastic films, food, etc. without making contact with them.

Pedak supplies infrared sensors, infrared cameras, infrared handheld transmitters and infrared body temperature meters.

Heat resistant up to 250°C

For example, the measuring head of the infrared sensor works even under extreme conditions. It can measure ambient temperatures of up to 250°C without even needing a cooling element. This makes it possible to use infrared temperature sensors in numerous applications; for example, dryers, ovens, freezing tunnels, heat treatment, semiconductors, and laser welding equipment.

Pedak stocks a wide range of infrared temperature sensors from the renowned German brand Optris. There are four types of temperature meters:

Infrared camera
These are also known as thermal imaging cameras or thermographic cameras. Thermal imaging cameras can be used for many applications such as fire prevention, process monitoring, research purposes, solar panel inspection and in-field crop inspections.
Infrared sensor
These are also known as spot pyrometers.
Ideal for precision infrared temperature measurements on small measuring surfaces; popular in industry and for Research & Development.
The small measuring heads on our industrial pyrometers mean they are highly suited to use in restricted and cramped conditions.
Handheld infrared thermometer
There are also handheld thermometers for non-contact temperature measurement. These are multi-purpose devices for inspection and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning, electrical and mechanical equipment, etc.
Infrared body temperature meter
A thermal camera lets you measure the body temperature of employees or visitors quickly and without physical contact. For reliable results, you need a high-quality thermal camera that is used correctly. Pedak has the in-house expertise needed to achieve the required precision.
