What is a cleanroom display?
The name says it all; it is a display designed for use in a cleanroom. A cleanroom is a controlled working environment with very low levels of contaminants. Cleanrooms are designed so that the activities carried out inside are not exposed to contamination by bacteria or airborne dust particles. Achieving such extreme levels of hygiene involves proper regulation of factors such as temperature, humidity and air pressure. Cleanroom displays let you visualise these parameters and respond to any changes.
Pedak developed its cleanroom display especially for operating theatres, laboratories, pharmacies, etc.
Cleanroom display applications
The cleanroom display, developed by Pedak itself, is fully sealed and designed for flush-mounting in the wall. Its shallow depth of 5 cm means this display fits into almost any system wall. Its smooth surface does not attract dust and the front is easy to clean.
The password-protected touchscreen makes operating the display very user-friendly. The display can be universally connected to sensors measuring parameters such as differential pressure, humidity, and also features freely programmable analogue inputs. The display can also be controlled by the building management system via Modbus RTU.
Applications
- Access control
- Airlocks
- Monitoring
- Raising awareness among cleanroom staff
Benefits for operating theatres, laboratories, pharmacies and other rooms where extreme hygiene is paramount
- two types of displays; for one measurement value or up to four measurement values
- Visual and acoustic alarm
- Modern, sleek and compact design for flush mounting in the wall
- Connects seamlessly to existing building management systems (BMS)
- Various inputs: PT100, PT1000, thermocouple, analogue, frequency, digital
- Freely programmable
Cleanroom display 123-2touch
The 123-2touch display is designed to show up to four different climate status values and their corresponding locations. The two-colour display allows the status of the climate in the working environment to be seen at a glance. If the climate is no longer within specifications, the display turns from green to red. As well as colours, the display also shows the measured values and the location.
