What is an outdoor data logger?

Outdoor data logger applications

Outdoor data loggers are mostly used for facilitating long-term research; for example, charting water and air quality. They are the ideal tool for farmers and fruit growers who need their crops to grow in perfect conditions. They are also used by universities and governments to gather climate data and make forecasts.

 

Accessing outdoor data logger remotely

There are outdoor data loggers that you can control remotely. For instance, Pedak’s product range includes 4G data loggers, Wi-Fi data loggers and Bluetooth (BLE) data loggers.

There’s no need to connect these loggers to a computer to access the measured values. The data is sent directly to an online software application or it can be displayed on a Bluetooth-connected smart device. This lets you check the measured values at any time of the day.
