Hobo S-WSB-M003 – Onset
Wind speed smart sensor, compatible with the USB data loggers stations or with the web-based monitoring systems for remote communication
This sensor measures the wind speed from 0 to 76 m/s. This smart sensor provides data reporting average wind speed and highest 3 second gust for each logging interval. The starting threshold is 1 m/s: sensor survives through 270 km/h. This model comes with 3 meters of cable.
This is a plug-and-play smart sensor, who is compatible with RX, H21, H22, and U30 loggers (stations). The wireless wind speed and direction sensor is also available for use with the HOBOnet Field Monitoring System and please note that an M-CAA full cross arm or a M-CAB half cross arm is required for mounting.
The sensor has a three cup anemometer with TEFLON bearings and hardened beryllium shaft. This sensor operates in indoor and outdoor environments and the S-WSB-M003 sensor supports the following measurement: wind speed.
